I have loved doing Mathematics since I was a child. For me, Math is like a game. I enjoy solving problems and equations and helping others to grasp the key concepts and rules of Mathematics that make it a valuable and useful life skill to have. In fact, the technologies we rely on every day could never have been invented without the use of Mathematics.
I have an Associates of Arts degree in Mathematics from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology (minor Anthropology) from the State University of New York at New Paltz. I have tutored students at both those colleges and at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. I have also tutored students in the Arlington School District in NY, in the Sedona-Oak Creek School District in Arizona, and in the Fairbanks Borough School District in Alaska.
Currently I tutor students in the New Paltz and Wallkill School Districts in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, and Trigonometry. I also tutor students who are attending colleges in the region including SUNY New Paltz.
